Holiday Family Hoedown in Clarkstown December 17th

ELIGIBLE: All Clarkstown residents 6 years of age and older

PROGRAM: A family evening of square dancing co-sponsored by Rockland Rockytops
Square Dance Club (no experience or partner necessary).

Congers Causeway

The Town of Clarkstown has installed holiday decorations on the causeway in Congers.

Due to the excessive number of times that the utility lines and poles went down on the causeway, Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann and staff worked with Orange and Rockland and the other utilities on storm hardening measures with the undergrounding of the lines (which was completed earlier this year). 

The remaining poles were wired with outlets to place holiday decorations on them for the first time.Thank you to Town DEFM staff who hung the decorations and to our utilities for working with us on burying the lines.
