The newly constructed Western Highway Bridge in West Nyack is completed and now open to traffic.
The bridge replacement was part of the West Nyack Levee Improvement project, which significantly hardened a number of key infrastructure assets in West Nyack to alleviate devastating flooding that occurred in the past.
The new bridge provides more capacity for water flow at a higher elevation (2 feet).
