Nyack, NY – The Village of Nyack will hold a public hearing to discuss a proposed amendment to the village’s zoning code that would alter current regulations regarding the maximum allowable height for fences, walls, and hedges on corner lots.
The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 8:05 p.m. and will take place at Village Hall, located at 9 North Broadway, Nyack, NY 10960. The hearing is expected to run until approximately 8:20 p.m.
The proposed local law would update existing zoning rules that currently limit the height of certain physical barriers at intersections, a measure typically aimed at preserving sightlines and ensuring pedestrian and vehicular safety.
Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and provide input. All interested parties will be given the opportunity to speak at the hearing.
The full text of the proposed law is available for public review at the Village Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.
This notice was issued by Village Clerk Linda Donnelly and dated March 28, 2025.
