Stony Point, NY – In an exclusive interview with Rockland Web Design Inc., founder Tom Ossa reports that ChatGPT is now an integrated part of Skype.
Based on the screenshots submitted, it seems that ChatGPT, the generative AI tool developed by OpenAI and funded billions of dollars by Microsoft – has been added as a core component of Skype. Skype was purchased by Microsoft in May of 2011 for $8.5 billion.
Ossa, the owner of Rockland Web Design Inc. has been following ChatGPT’s updates regularly, and uses the tool for various work-related tasks. “It’s an amazing application,” he stated. “I can prompt ChatGPT to write emails, code and provide guidance on how to develop SEO strategies for our clients. It doesn’t replace humans, but it makes all our work easier. It’s very difficult to stay creative and focused every day of the week, without high-tech tools to make our work effective. We have to answer to our customers, and having the right apps accelerate that effort, so that their companies can thrive.”
Skype’s integration of ChatGPT further propels a strategy by Microsoft to connect their billion-dollar investment with every aspect of their company – including Bing, their search engine, Microsoft Office, and potentially even Windows itself.
