The EMT Training program begins January 24th and leads to New York State Certification as an EMT-Basic.

Actress Arlene Dahl, Former Rocklander, Dies at 96

Rockland acting legend Arlene Dahl, has died. The actress, who had made Sparkill her weekend getaway home, starred in 1949’s “Reign of Terror” and “Journey to the Center of the Earth” in 1959…

That clip courtesy of 20th Century Fox. Dahl’s last acting credit came in 1999 for the TV show “Air America.” Her son, actor Lorenzo Lamas, called her a “force of nature” in social media tributes. She was 96 years old.

County Legislature to Review, Potentially “Tweak” County Exec’s 2022 Budget Proposal

The County Legislature’s Budget and Finance Committee is meeting tonight to potentially make some tweaks to the county executive’s 2022 budget proposal…

NY AG Drops Video Testimony of Former Governor, Accusers

Also released yesterday, videos of the former governor’s accusers, top aide Rich Azzopardi, and transcripts from the former governor’s brother, CNN talk show host Chris Cuomo, who had given him advice on how to deal with the scandals. Attorney General Letitia James is now herself running for Governor.
