Brotherhood Winery to be Inducted in the NYS Historic Registry

Senator James Skoufis (D-Hudson Valley) will announce Brotherhood Winery’s induction to the NYS Historic Business Preservation Registry, administered by the Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation. Created earlier this year, the registry highlights businesses that have been in operation for at least 50 years and have contributed to their communities’ history. Created when local cobbler John Jaques released his first commercial vintage in 1839, Brotherhood has remained in operation for over 175 years.

Following the induction announcement, the Brotherhood team will offer an optional winery tour and tasting to those interested.
