BLAUVELT, NY — Residents and coffee lovers gathered last week to celebrate the grand reopening of the Dunkin’ restaurant at 580 Route 303 in Blauvelt, which unveiled its modern “Next Generation” design and marked the occasion with both giveaways and a charitable contribution.
As part of the festivities, franchise owner Kishan Patel presented a $3,000 donation to Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland (CCCSR), made in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. The nonprofit, based in nearby Haverstraw, provides food, shelter, and emergency support to families in need throughout the county.
“On behalf of the thousands of families we support, we are grateful to Kishan Patel and the entire Dunkin’ community for their leadership and support of our mission of service,” said Dan Eudene, Executive Director of Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland. “This is the second time we have been blessed with Mr. Patel’s genuine kindness and generosity.”
The grand reopening celebration kicked off at 9 a.m. with a special “Free Coffee for 100 Days” promotion for the first 100 guests in line. Attendees also enjoyed a Dunkin’ prize wheel, free merchandise, and a photo booth to commemorate the event.
Local officials and community representatives—including members of the Blauvelt Volunteer Fire Department, and representatives from the offices of Rockland County Executive Ed Day, New York State Assemblyman Aron Wieder, and the Town of Orangetown—joined the festivities for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The newly remodeled 400-square-foot Dunkin’ features the brand’s latest design upgrades and employs eight crew members. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The event highlighted Dunkin’s continued commitment to community engagement while offering guests a first look at its refreshed space and modernized experience.
