Details: Jawonio, the non-profit provider of services for children and adults with special needs is seeking donations of new and/or used Lego(tm) products and sets.
All Donors who bring the Lego products for donation on Saturday will be entered into a raffle for a $100 Amazon Gift Card.
BACKGROUND: Brick It Again is a retail storefront business for the resale of Lego(tm) building blocks. The store will support adults with disabilities, mental health challenges, and chronic medical conditions. The concept and vision for the store will be to develop transferable job skills and preparation for competitive employment. Staff will work to ensure that the individuals will work towards their highest potential and success in advancing the goals of independence.
Brick It Again staff will help support a task-oriented learning environment learn while teaching social & emotional skills.
