Loose leaf piles should be placed on homeowner’s property – and not on sidewalks or in the roadway. DPW will be picking up leaves starting November 2, 2021 through December 10, 2021. Leaves may be placed in biodegradable paper bags or left loose in a pile on homeowner’s property. Consider mulching leaves as a sustainable approach to landscaping. Residential Yard Waste Drop Off
Residential drop-off at the Clarkstown Yard Waste Facility — located at 166 S. Rt 303 — is open to all Rockland County residents in non-commercial vehicles only. Acceptable yard waste is brush, grass and leaves. All waste needs to be separated and dumped in the designated container. NO PLASTIC BAGS ALLOWED.
