
Ramapo, NY – The Town of Ramapo celebrated the promotions of four members of the Ramapo Police Department during a ceremony held at Town Hall. The event marked a significant milestone for the department as three officers were elevated to the rank of sergeant and one sergeant was promoted to lieutenant.
Supervisor Michael Specht, Deputy Supervisor Brendel Logan-Charles, Councilman Yitzy Ullman, Councilman Shimon Weissmandl, and Ramapo Police Chief Danny Hyman led the ceremony, commending the officers for their dedication and service to the community.
The officers promoted include Lieutenant Shawn Bakker, Sergeant Michael Luba, Sergeant Michael Milovich, and Sergeant Ronald Simpson. Each officer has demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment to public safety, and professionalism throughout their careers.
