Rockland County, NY – The Police Chiefs Association of Rockland County has announced its newly appointed leadership, marking an important moment for law enforcement collaboration and public service across the county.
Chief Greg Becker has been appointed Vice President of the Association, bringing with him a reputation for steady leadership, professionalism, and a strong commitment to community-focused policing. In his new role, Becker will help guide the Association’s mission of strengthening cooperation among law enforcement agencies while supporting best practices that enhance public safety throughout Rockland County.
The Association also proudly congratulates Chief John Gould of the Haverstraw Police Department on his appointment as President. Gould’s elevation reflects his extensive experience, respected leadership, and dedication to both his department and the broader law enforcement community. As President, he will lead the Association in addressing evolving public safety challenges and fostering unity among local police departments.
In addition to these appointments, the Association is honored to recognize its founding Chief, Retired Chief Stephen Scurti, who has been named Sergeant-at-Arms.
