Attention Rockland County Businesses!
Offshore Wind Manufacturing is an emerging industry that Rockland County and the Mid-Hudson Valley region businesses can and should take part in. Your business may be able to provide products and/or services that will be needed in this industry.
The New York State Energy Research & Development Authority’s (NYSERDA) Offshore Wind Program has develeloped a database where vendors and suppliers can register. The link to the NYSERDA Supply Chain Database is where the Offshore Wind Industry’s Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Developers will look to source as part of their operations in New York State. If your business is not registered, it may not be found.
The Rockland County Department of Economic Development and Tourism highly encourages all vendors and suppliers in the county to register on this database.
Empire State Development (ESD) and the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council will be hosting additional forums on other related topics around Offshore Wind and other renewable energy projects in the future.
The Rockland County Department of Economic Development and Tourism will be sharing this information with our business community as future dates are announced.Let’s take advantage of this emerging opportunity!
