No one was reported injured after a car drove into a bank in Nanuet on Friday afternoon. That’s according to News 12. The car was apparently driven into the Webster Bank Branch on Route 59 in the Rockland Plaza shopping center. The cause of the crash, unknown. The day before that crash, Ramapo Police had to deal with a similar incident. They say around 12:27 Thursday afternoon, Ramapo Police got a report from Spring Valley cops of a driver in need of assistance. Ramapo Police say they saw a car heading into oncoming traffic on West Eckerson Road in Hillcrest. The car veered off the road, struck a curb, and crashed into a house. They say the driver, a 61 year-old man from Monroe, appeared to be drunk, and several open containers of alcohol were found in the car. He was arrested and charged with felony DWI. The man also had a prior DWI conviction in the last ten years. There were no reported injuries.
