ABC News reported the Senate voted to advance a short-term funding extension earlier this week in a procedural vote. The short-term funding extension could move the two budget deadlines to early March. Congress passed stopgap legislation last November extending some government funding for various priorities. That deadline is tomorrow, the rest of the government is funded until February 2nd.
