Established in 1981, the Town of Clarkstown Youth Court serves as a peer court for juvenile first-time offenders to have their cases adjudicated. Comprising teenage town residents, the court hears cases related to violations and misdemeanors, offering a unique approach to youth justice.
This week, Supervisor Hoehmann, Chief Wanamaker, and the Town Board recognized the latest graduates of the program with certificates. A heartfelt appreciation was extended to program directors, Det. Sgt. Kieran Dwyer and Det. Chris Maloney, for their dedicated leadership.
