Sunday marks the 60th Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Pearl River, said to be the second largest in the state. The Rockland County Ancient Order of Hibernians says it’ll be on rain or shine, and right now it looks like it’ll be more shine than rain. Orangetown Supervisor Teresa Kenny looks forward to the event every year, and she’ll be among a group of local lawmakers at the head of the parade…
Though meteorologist Mark Hanok’s weather forecast calls for a chance rain in the morning, Rockland County Sheriff Lou Falco is confident it’ll all work out…
The parade starts at 1:30 Sunday at the Pfizer parking lot off East Crooked Hill Road, goes down Middletown Road, to Central Avenue, then ends on Main Street near the Pearl River Post Office.
