New City, NY – The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) was founded in 1979 by a group of women with the goal of enhancing members’ personal growth and expanding their career goals. Over the years, the organization has evolved into a cohesive group recognized by local and county government officials for its mission and service to the community.
Today, RBWN continues to encourage, nurture, connect, and advise businesswomen in Rockland County and the local region. The organization offers various programs, resources, and activities to support its members and increase their presence in the community.
Membership in RBWN includes benefits aimed at helping businesswomen grow their networks and visibility. Monthly educational events and unique networking activities provide opportunities for members to meet and connect with each other.
A recent RBWN event, held on March 13, 2024, at Gios restaurant, featured a mini-mastermind meeting where members shared insights and ideas to grow their businesses. Each member had the opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss their jobs, fostering communication and collaboration among attendees.
Jill Cruz, President of RBWN, emphasized the organization’s mission to inspire and empower women in business of all ages. RBWN strives to provide support and empowerment, helping women learn from each other and grow professionally.
