On March 17, 2024, Supervisor Kenny proudly joined fellow elected officials in the vibrant procession of the 60th Annual Rockland County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. Against a backdrop of clear blue skies, an enthusiastic crowd lined the streets, and numerous bands filled the air with lively music.
The event was made possible not only by the spirited participation of the community but also by the dedication of the Orangetown Police Department and all first responders. A special acknowledgment goes to Lt. Hope Goswick of the Piermont Fire Department EMS, whose swift action and expertise in administering CPR to a man in cardiac arrest saved his life. Supervisor Kenny and the Town Board plan to honor Lt. Goswick at an upcoming Town Board meeting for her remarkable bravery and lifesaving efforts.
Additionally, sincere appreciation is extended to the Orangetown Highway Department for their exemplary work in ensuring a clean and orderly environment throughout the parade festivities.
