Ramapo, NY – Supervisor Michael Specht, in collaboration with the Office of Emergency Preparedness and the Ramapo Police Department, has launched a new safety initiative aimed at spreading awareness about daily safety concerns. The initiative covers a wide range of topics, including heat safety, car seat safety, reflector safety, bike and helmet safety, pool and swimming safety, and school bus safety.
In a recent event at Evergreen Supermarket Plaza, Supervisor Specht and police officers distributed reflectors and educational materials to community members. This hands-on approach is designed to provide essential safety items and information directly to the public, promoting in-person safety awareness.
The initiative will continue over the next several months, with events planned at various locations throughout Ramapo. Residents are encouraged to participate and stay informed as part of the collective effort to make Ramapo a safer place for all.
