Ramapo, NY – Congratulations to the Honorable Alejandra Silva, who was recently honored by the Rockland County Legislature for her historic achievement as the first Latina to serve as Town Justice in the Town of Ramapo. The recognition was part of the county’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The award was presented to Judge Silva during a ceremony attended by several distinguished figures, including Hon. Djinsad Desir of the Rockland County Court, Tahisha Ewing, CEO of Smarty Pants Learning Center, Deputy Supervisor Brendel Logan Charles, Legislator Toney Earl, and Legislator Aney Paul.
This honor marks an important milestone for the local Hispanic community and serves as a recognition of Judge Silva’s contributions to justice and public service in Rockland County.
