Just three more weeks until the village of South Nyack gets fully absorbed into the town of Orangetown. Supervisor Teresa Kenny says there will be some growing pains as the two entities merge…
South Nyack’s Village Hall Building could be destined to become a bike shop and café if that sale goes through, a zone change was required to accommodate that. Mayor Bonnie Christian says both properties are currently under contract. The village was first incorporated in 1878. South Nyack residents voted in December 2020 to dissolve the village.
