Clarkstown, NY – The Town of Clarkstown welcomed its newest Councilman, Bob Axelrod, during the final Town Board meeting of 2024. Axelrod, appointed to represent Ward 4, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new role.
A retired Speech and Communication professor from Rockland Community College, Axelrod has spent nearly a decade serving on the New City Library Board and has previously contributed as a board member of the Camp Venture Foundation. His longstanding commitment to community service positions him as a capable and passionate advocate for the residents of Clarkstown.
“Councilman Axelrod’s extensive background in education and civic involvement will serve our community well,” said town officials.
