Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann attended a celebration for the 160th Anniversary of the Knickerbocker Engine Company No. 1 and presented Chief Chris Ryan with a proclamation commemorating the event and recognizing the many years of dedicated service to Rockland Lake and the surrounding community.
The following members received awards for service Thomas Bierds 54 years; William Dauska 68 years; James Dillon 68 years; Robert Runge 46 years; William Venezia Jr 59 years; Anton Klecar 50 years and Chief Chris Ryan 32 years.
