As we all enjoy the beautiful weather, we know that soon truly hot weather will be here. Last summer we saw an extended heat wave, with 25 days over 90 degrees. For most of us, that means much higher electric bills for cooling.
Clarkstown residents and small businesses are eligible to participate in the Rockland Community Power clean energy program. This program helps the community transition to clean energy while also protecting consumers from rate spikes. Rates are fixed in the program for 18 months. Savings are not guaranteed in the program, but generally program participants save money over time.
