Garnerville, NY — Senator Bill Weber and the Soto family are set to announce the introduction of legislation to rename the section of Route 202 between Rosman Road and Route 45 as the Hector L. Soto Memorial Highway. The event will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at 1 Rosman Road, Garnerville, NY 10923. Attendees are asked to gather behind Town Hall, in front of the Haverstraw Detective’s office.
Soto, who passed away in April of 2023, has been remembered as a community-minded family man, who was a member of the following organizations over the course of his lifetime:
