At the Town Board meeting on April 16, 2024, the community of Orangetown came together to honor a local hero, EMS Lt. Hope Goswick of the Piermont Fire Department, for her life-saving actions during the 2024 Rockland County St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Lt. Goswick was recognized for her quick response and professional expertise, which were crucial in saving a life at this well-attended community event. Her actions exemplify the dedication and bravery that characterize our local emergency services personnel.
The ceremony also extended gratitude towards the various EMS teams that provided assistance during the incident, including the Old Tappan Volunteer First Aid Corps, Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps ALS, and the RCEMS Coordinators.
