Orangetown, NY – Lieutenant James “Jim” Sullivan, affectionately known as “Turtle,” has officially retired after nearly four decades of dedicated service in law enforcement. His impressive career began in the New York Police Department (NYPD), where he served for almost five years before joining the Orangetown Police Department, where he continued to serve the community for an additional 33 years.
