Rockland County, NY — On Monday, October 21, 2024, Supervisor Kenny joined community leaders, supporters, and food enthusiasts at Meals on Wheels’ 6th annual fall gala, Cornucopia. The event celebrated community spirit and generosity, featuring an exquisite menu crafted by some of the area’s most talented chefs.
Held to support Meals on Wheels’ critical mission, Cornucopia is one of the organization’s major fundraisers, helping to provide over 295,000 meals annually to approximately 1,430 seniors in the region. The event was filled with laughter, connection, and gratitude as attendees gathered to support a cause that directly benefits the county’s elderly residents.
“Cornucopia is truly a night to remember,” said Supervisor Kenny, acknowledging the chefs, donors, and volunteers who make the event possible. The funds raised will ensure that Meals on Wheels can continue to deliver nutritious meals and companionship to seniors in need throughout Rockland County.
