This week, Supervisor George Hoehmann signed documentation for the Veterans Administration to replace or repair three veteran’s headstones at Mount Moor in West Nyack. There are 31 veterans buried at Mount Moor dating back to the Civil War. Thank you to Ed England, William Stumph, Willie Trotman, Bill Baston and the Friends of Mount Moor for all their work to help us preserve this important historical site.
