Chamber Administrator
ADMIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to Phone inquiries and alert appropriate Exec Board members of any questions or need to follow up.
- Respond to Email inquiries and alert appropriate Exec Board members of any questions or need to follow up. Schedule appointments if needed.
- Help design marketing for various publications and programs for various Chamber events including ads, packets, and letters.
- Help to provide information regarding future Chamber events.
- Prepare Press releases for Chamber events
- Post events on Google Calendar and other calendars
- Assist in daily activities: develop and type correspondence, assist in making phone calls, and setting up appointments
- Assist with the layout and write, edit and collect information for the newsletter and weekly communications.
- Participate in general meetings and fundraising activities
- Assist with special projects and programs
- Help to keep track of registrations for Chamber events.
- Help with the street fair booth.
- Work on special projects as needed
- Attend monthly Board meetings
- All other responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Office
- Willing to learn new applications and processes when applicable
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and daily work tasks
- Dependable, friendly and outgoing attitude, eagerness to assist others and work in a team environment
- Experience in customer service
Social Media Administrator
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Chamber events posted to Facebook and Instagram.
- Creating at least 3-4 posts a week re: special days (e.g. Pizza day, holidays, Nurses day, etc.), events, and highlighting chamber members
- Monthly business letter Your Business Connection
- Monthly analytic reporting on activity with engagement results
- Create a monthly editorial calendar, updated 2-3 times a week with scheduled posts, approvals, media placement, etc.
- Creation of business profiles, promoting business partners/members with graphics to post on FB, Instagram, and usable on the Chamber website. Chamber to provide an outline of Q&A to be used in the profile
- Cover the street fair with video and live stream to FB.
