Nyack, NY — As the crisp air of autumn rolls into the Hudson Valley, the Village of Nyack is welcoming residents and visitors alike with a vibrant lineup of events celebrating the season’s change, artistic expression, community spirit, and local heritage. With more than 120 events scheduled between now and Thanksgiving, the newly released Nyack Fall Events Guide presents a vivid portrait of a village rich in culture, tradition, and togetherness.
Mayor Joe Rand shared a warm message marking the season’s arrival, reflecting on Nyack’s active summer and anticipating the excitement of fall. “School’s back! Leaves changing color! The Halloween Parade! Football! What a great season,” Rand wrote. He emphasized that the guide not only showcases upcoming activities but underscores why Nyack remains one of the region’s most dynamic and livable communities.
Highlights of the 2025 Autumn Season
From large-scale festivals to intimate performances, the guide features an eclectic mix of art, music, culinary, and community-driven experiences:

Of course, fall in Nyack wouldn’t be complete without its signature Halloween festivities. This year’s lineup includes the iconic Halloween Parade, Monster Mash, a special block party dubbed the “Spirit of South Broadway,” a family-friendly movie screening, and an ArtsRock silent film performance at the Angel Theatre on Halloween night.
Year-Round Community Anchors
The fall guide also highlights the enduring features of Nyack life: the weekly Farmer’s Market, the monthly Flower Market, the Nyack Art Collective’s exhibitions, and a consistent slate of outdoor and family-focused programming that draws visitors from across Rockland and beyond.
Residents can pick up a printed copy of the Fall Events Guide at Village Hall or in local businesses. A digital version is available at www.nyack.link/events.
The creation of this year’s guide was spearheaded by Rebecca Kelehan and Nadine Schneider, whose dedication to community storytelling helped ensure that no corner of Nyack’s cultural vibrancy went overlooked.
As the days grow shorter and the air cooler, Nyack’s fall calendar affirms its status as a community deeply committed to shared experiences, creative expression, and local pride.
