It’s been 34 years, but the U.S. Justice Department announced yesterday that an alleged mastermind behind the Pan Am Flight 103 terror attack is finally in U.S. custody to face charges. Mark Zwynenburg, a 29 year-old from West Nyack, was among the 270 people killed when the plane exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland. Abu Agila Mohammad Mas’ud Kheir Al-Marimi faces two criminal counts for allegedly helping make the bomb that brought down the plane that was heading from London to New York. Two others have also been charged in the attack.
