Here’s another reason not to leave your keys in your car. On Saturday afternoon, Ramapo Police responded to an Airmont homeowner’s report of a stolen vehicle. The woman said it was stolen sometime overnight. Ramapo Police say the investigation revealed, apparently, a 34-year old Haverstraw woman was visiting her boyfriend’s home nearby, and when she left, she reportedly got into the wrong vehicle, which had the keys in it, and drove away. Haverstraw Police helped find the car at the suspect’s home in Haverstraw. She was charged with Felony Grand Larceny and released on an appearance ticket. She is due back in Airmont Justice Court at a date to be determined.
