The New York Boulders played game two of their three-game home stand series against the Ottawa Titans at Clover Stadium in Pomona last night. The game was tied at one when the Boulders gave up three in the top of the seventh. The Boulders were down 4-1 in the seventh inning with the bases loaded, one out, and the league’s leading hitter, Steve Barmakian, at the plate…
And that was Marc Ernay with the call on the Boulders Broadcast Network. One run would score on that play, and Chris Kwitzer would knock in the go-ahead run two batters later. But the Titans would score three in the ninth and the Boulders would go on to lose, 7-5. The Boulders are now in 3rd place in the Eastern Division, a game and a half behind the second-place Titans and 10 ½ behind Quebec, and just a half game ahead of the Tri-City ValleyCats. They’ll wrap up the series tonight against Ottawa at Clover Stadium in Pomona at 7pm. You can hear all the action right here on WRCR AM1700 and WRCR.com.
