The New York State Public Service Commission is holding an expedited public comment hearing tonight on a proposal to sell Suez Water NY to a large French multinational company. The Rockland Sierra Club wants the state to do a feasibility study to consider whether Rockland should have an independent local public water authority rather than private ownership.
