The state has dropped many of the COVID mask mandate requirements but if you’re in the county jail, be prepared to wear that mask. Rockland Sheriff Lou Falco says even if the sate were to drop the mask mandate right now, he’s not ready to give it up just yet…
Yesterday schools in the state got the ok to drop their mask mandates. Meanwhile, the number of COVID deaths in Rockland since the last report on Friday is up while hospitalizations and total cases are both down, that’s based on Monday’s update by the county health department, and that’s been the trend for the past month or so. We’ve got 1,163 fatalities due to COVID, that’s up four. We’ve got five hospitalized with coronavirus, that’s down one, and the total number of active cases is at 342, down 109.
