The sale of the Suffern Quarry is finally done, and the town of Ramapo and the village of Suffern are hopeful for good things to come as a result. Ramapo originally bought the 60-acre former Tilcon Quarry site for one dollar 16 years ago after it closed. The property is now back on the tax rolls for Ramapo residents and those in the Suffern Central School District.
