A division of Walmart has to cough up $1.6 million to a Rockland man who was injured riding a bike in their Suffern store six years ago. That’s according to a recent article on Patch.com. The verdict was reportedly handed down this summer for Cosmo Campodonico of South Nyack in the amount of $3.1 million but that was reduced when it was determined that he was partially liable for the accident. It all happened when Campodonico injured his right shoulder after he was allowed to test-ride a bike in the retailer’s garden center. The brakes failed and he crashed into a row of bikes on display.
