A 32 year-old Spring Valley man has been convicted of sexually assaulting his young niece over a three-year period beginning when she was just seven years old. Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh says a jury found Holger Chuya-Andrade guilty on all counts, including Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child. The trial began on September eighth and lasted about a week. Walsh says Chuya-Andrade abused his niece starting in May eleven years ago. He was sent to the Rockland County Jail. He’ll be sentenced in November and faces a maximum of life in prison on the top count. He’ll also have to register as a sex offender once he gets out.
