A Stony Point woman has been charged with beating and injuring two of her children. Lieutenant Daniel Schoales of the Stony Point Police says the incident occurred early Monday morning. Schoales says they responded to Nyack Hospital to investigate a domestic incident. 33 year-old Kimberly Rivas is accused of using a foam baseball bat to strike both juveniles several times, and she’s charged with two counts of assault, endangering the welfare of a child and other charges. She was released on her own recognizance and is due back in court on Thursday.
