The Town of Stony Point is looking for more input tonight on a proposed new local law that would create a “floating zone” to help plan and develop some underutilized areas in town, particularly those that may have environmental issues but are located strategically near the river and railroad line. The “River & Rail Brownfield Redevelopment Floating Zone” is the subject of a continued public hearing being held tonight at 7pm at Town Hall.
