Stony Point Police arrested two men from the city and looking for one more after getting reports that people were removing mail from mailboxes that weren’t their own in Tomkins Cove early Tuesday afternoon. Police say they caught up to a suspicious vehicle on Mott Farm Road shortly after noon. They tried to stop the car, but the driver sped off, eventually skidding off the roadway, heading down an embankment and bursting into flames. A juvenile exited the car and surrendered to police. 18-year-old Sekou Touray of the Bronx was arrested and charged with fourth degree grand larceny, petit larceny, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was released and is due in Stony Point Justice Court next week. An unidentified 15-year male from Manhattan was charged with fourth degree grand larceny and petit larceny. He was released to a family member. Two other unidentified males were interviewed and released with no criminal charges. The investigation is on-going.
