Tomorrow is Veterans Day, and there are a number of commemorations happening tomorrow:
Palisades Center: 10 a.m. A service by the Rockland Buffalo Soldiers is at the Mount Moor Cemetery. The cemetery is located near the center’s F-Lot parking lot near Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Spring Valley: 10 a.m. A ceremony at Spring Valley Village Hall, 200 North Main St. Music will be performed by the East Ramapo Marching Band and there will be light refreshments.
Suffern: 11 a.m. The parade will begin at Suffern Village Hall, 61 Washington Ave., and proceed to the Soldier’s Monument on Washington Avenue where the ceremony will begin. Following the ceremony, all are invited to the lawn outside the Suffern Community Center at 41 Washington Ave. for a buffet luncheon BBQ. In case of bad weather, the luncheon will be in the Community Center.
Haverstraw: 11 a.m. A ceremony hosted by Leo Laders American Legion Post 130 will be held at Haverstraw Town Hall, 1 Rosman Road, Garnerville.
