According to Forbes, Facebook is cutting around 11,000 employees, Amazon is dropping 10,000 from its workforce, while Twitter cut about 3,700 – around half the company, Microsoft handed out pink slips to around 1,000 employees last month, and ride-share company, Lyft, sliced about 13%, or 700 employees, from its payroll earlier this month.
