The town of Ramapo is holding another public hearing next month to discuss a local law being considered over allowing Planned Unit Developments throughout Ramapo, not just the Northeast Corridor, where it’s already been approved. With the PUDs, the town is hoping to encourage developers to come up with residential, commercial or mixed-use projects to help alleviate the local housing crisis, including smaller and more affordable apartments and single-family homes. The next hearing is being held February 26th.
