About a dozen protestors swarmed last week’s Rockland Business Association luncheon as Rockland’s Congressman was speaking, but it’s not clear whether any charges have been filed or not after the scene turned rowdy. Rockland Illegal Housing Task Force member, Justin Schwartz, attended the event and can be seen in the video wrestling with a protestor and falling to the floor. Schwartz told “The Morning Show” Friday that the incident is a sign of the times…
The protesters entered a conference room at the Hotel Nyack, unfurled a banner that read “Elon’s Puppet” and the words “Climate Defiance” across the bottom, the name of a group that is based in Washington, D.C., but has pulled similar stunts around the country. We reached out to the group for comment, but have not heard back. Despite rowdy responses at GOP town hall meetings across the country lately, Lawler plans to hold public meetings throughout the 17th District, though specific times and dates haven’t yet been set.
