Clarkstown, NY – This week, the Clarkstown Town Board honored two exemplary student organizations: the Clarkstown High School South Assets Leadership Team and the Clarkstown High School North Seasons of Giving Club. These groups were recognized for their outstanding leadership and volunteer efforts, which have significantly benefited the community.
Both clubs share a common mission of unifying their peers while making a positive impact on those in need. Their activities have supported numerous organizations, including the Happy Jack Fund, the Alzheimer’s Walk, Sunrise Day Camp Walk, Heaven Can Wait, Jesse’s Wish, and the Penguin Plunge, among others. Additionally, they have organized multiple collection drives to assist those in the community who require help.
The dedication and hard work of the students involved, as well as their advisors—Susan Solar, Hillary Jacobs, and Dina Kalmeta—were acknowledged and celebrated. Their commitment to service exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism and community support.
