In a recent development concerning the Rockland Community Power program, certain Clarkstown residents have received letters indicating their automatic enrollment in the program unless they opt out within thirty days. However, it has come to light that some of these letters were distributed in error.
Residents who had previously opted out of the program in 2023 received these recent letters erroneously. No action is required from these individuals, as they will not be enrolled. Constellation, the program administrator, will soon dispatch confirmation letters to validate this status.
For recipients who received the program letter for the first time or have recently relocated, the following options are available:
- Stay in the Program: Residents wishing to continue participating in the Rockland Community Power program can simply take no action, as they will be automatically enrolled.
- Modify Selection: Those preferring to alter their energy options or express specific preferences can do so by contacting (833) 930-3159.
- Opt Out: Residents not wishing to partake in the program can opt out by calling (833) 930-3159 within the stipulated timeframe.
Apologies have been issued for any confusion stemming from the mailing error, with residents urged to verify their enrollment status promptly. Should further clarification or assistance be needed, individuals are encouraged to reach out to the provided phone number.
