Spring Valley, NY – The Village of Spring Valley, in partnership with the NAACP of Spring Valley and Tappan Zee Lodge #79, invites community members to a special event celebrating Black History Month. The gathering will highlight history, culture, and community while honoring the contributions of Black leaders past and present.
The celebration will take place on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Louis Kurtz Center, located at 9 N Main Street in Spring Valley. Local leaders, organizations, and residents will come together for an evening featuring engaging discussions, live performances, and networking opportunities.
Community organizations and resource providers are encouraged to participate by sharing information and services with attendees. Those interested in being part of the event are asked to RSVP by February 17, 2025.
