SPRING VALLEY, NY — The Village of Spring Valley will help hundreds of local families enjoy a festive holiday meal this year with the distribution of 310 free turkeys on Friday, Nov. 21.
The giveaway, which will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Village Hall, is made possible through donations from local businesses and community partners. Village officials said the outpouring of support reflects the community’s ongoing commitment to helping neighbors in need.
“This event would not be possible without the generosity of our local businesses and partners,” the village said in its announcement. “We are grateful for their dedication to our community.”
The distribution is open exclusively to Spring Valley residents, and proof of residency is required. Each household may receive one turkey, and all recipients must be present in person. Turkeys cannot be reserved or held, and supplies are limited. Officials also ask attendees not to arrive before 3 p.m. to help ensure a safe and orderly distribution.
